About

I’m the good kind of fanatic - not the dangerous kind. I’ve been traveling around the eastern Adriatic since the 1990s, and leading tours in the area since 2003. Though I didn’t grow up in any of these countries, I’ve learned a lot about their histories and cultures, and I love sharing what I myself love about these places. In my day job, I’m a professor at Seattle University, where I teach European history and politics.

What is going on with the blog? I just found it and seems to be just one of the best blogs on Croatia!
